Reboton was the first Filipino to grab the silver medal in bench press (105kg) and bronze medal in total lifts (187.5kg in squats + 205 kg in deadlift = 497.5kg in total). While Filipinas excelling in global championships is no longer a rarity, in the realm of strength sports competitions, funding, and support remains sparse. <\/p>\n<p>Instead of being disheartened by the ugly reality of the financial deficiencies, Reboton extended herself out of her comfort zone to gather funds by signing up for crowd-funding projects and launching her own brand-KILOS. <\/p>\n<p>KILOS carries originally designed t-shirts and tote bags which hopefully would enable her to save funds and fly her to competitions to represent the Philippines. <\/p>\n<p>Admittedly, Powerlifting isn\u2019t a popular sport yet in the Philippines.
