Adapted from the classic cast iron plates of the past, the Rogue Deep Dish Plates are vintage-styled machine plates known for their deep flange design. These plates may look old school, but they are made with modern casting, machining, and finishing methods by Cadillac Casting Inc., an American metal casting company with a foundry of nearly 100 years.
These plates are cast from ductile iron, with a higher tensile strength and yield strength than that of standard gray iron. Ductile iron also has superior corrosion resistance, which makes these plates hard to break or crack from heavy drops. Each plate features a black e-coat finish, adding resistance to corrosion and providing a smooth, even coverage and adhesion while still retaining the cast iron texture. All these make for deep dish plates with a lifetime of value and use.
Cadillac Casting’s three-surface machining process for the back, hub, and flange give each plate a uniform diameter, which allows for very snug and secure fits on the bar. These plates also have a solid weight tolerance of -2% and -0%, with a weight accuracy higher than that of traditional cast iron plates.
